Hi I’m Charyn Youngson and my mission is to add value to you! I am an entrepreneur, an author, professional home stager, teacher and mentor and my expertise is in making money by adding value to property. I show my clients not only how to unlock the potential value in their houses but also how they can unlock the potential in themselves by investing in property to create wealth.

I don’t have a university degree but I consider myself a lifelong learner. I have learnt that the key to financial success is knowledge. Since I left school at 16, I have had a number of jobs working for other organisations trading time for money. I liked most of my jobs but I was never passionate about what I did.

I realised that working in moderately paying jobs for other people was never going to enable me to create real wealth in the long term – especially when I went from being married to a single mother in 2001. My comfortable and moderate lifestyle nose-dived into a meagre existence where I was just living from week to week.

I knew that if I continued on the same path, I would end up relying on an aged pension with a small superannuation, living from pension cheque to pension cheque – not quite the lifestyle I dreamed about.

Then finally, after being sacked from my job, instead of getting another low paying 9 -5er that would never improve my financial future, I decided to take a risk and invest in myself. I signed up for a yearlong property and mindset mentoring course that would show me how to create wealth through investing in property.

I didn’t waste any more time. As soon as I returned from my first weekend seminar of the course, I immediately put my new knowledge into action. I refinanced my house, started the search for a renovator’s delight and a few weeks later I had a new career – working for myself as a property renovator. I made more money in my first house deal than I had for the whole previous year working 52 weeks 9 – 5!

I found I had a talent for adding huge value to run down and neglected houses. Apart from plumbing and electrical, I did all the renovation work myself learning how to demolish, repair, replace, renew and repaint. My trusty paint brush became my new best friend and Bunning’s my second home. Every house I sold was finished off with furniture and accessories. I never sold an empty house because I realised early on that house presentation was another technique I could use to make even more dollars when you sell your house.

In fact I identified that I could start a business around house presentation and home staging that would help home sellers maximise their profit when selling their homes… and that’s how Houses to Impress was born – I began to specialise in Dressing Houses for Success!

One of my dreams when I started my property and mindset mentoring course was to eventually share my knowledge and inspire others to change their lives through Property investing. So in 2007 I became a tutor and started teaching a course called “Renovating for Profit”.

The enjoyment and satisfaction I gained from sharing my knowledge led me to write about my experiences and in early 2008 I became a co author in “The Path to Success” an internationally published book which shares over 50 inspirational stories from entrepreneurs around the world with some absolute giants in the mindset and personal development industry including Dr. Wayne Dwyer, Mark Victor Hansen, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Sandy Forster and Arielle Ford. But most of the stories of achievement are written by ordinary people like myself, who have overcome adversity in many ways to live a life of success.

I have now written my own book “Sold for Top Dollar – Low Cost Home Improvements that Maximise your Sale”  that tells people how they can use the simple techniques and strategies I have used to massively increase the value of real estate to make myself and my clients hundreds of thousands of dollars.

My path to success has taken a long and windy road but I love my work and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge that is why I have created this site so I can inspire others to add value in all areas of their lives.  You will find a lot of useful information on my site relating to creating wealth, property, mindset and law of attraction.  Enjoy looking around
